Officials Working Oil Spill South Of Port Fouchon

A 2 mile by 13 mile oil sheen in the Gulf of Mexico has federal officials and the Coast Guard responding to it.

According to our news partners at KATC, Shell Offshore Inc. reported the sheen in the area of its Glider Field. The sheen in the Gulf is about 97 miles south of Port Fouchon, La.

No injuries have been reported and no personnel have been evacuated.
