The Ohio State student that ran onto the football and was slammed down by a coach has lost his scholarship because of his bone-head decision to run onto the playing field.

Anthony Wunder ran onto the field at Ohio State last week and as he approached the Ohio State sideline, he was met with authority. The team's strength and conditioning coach, Anthony Schlegel, caught Wunder and immediately body-slammed the student to the ground.

Now, we have learned that Wunder, who was on a scholarship at Ohio State, has lost his scholarship to the University. I also heard today that the young man has hired an attorney, and I anticipate that he will seek legal actions on the University, team, and the coach that man-handled him.

Many have been debating whether or not the young man should have been penalized, by losing his scholarship, for running onto the field. Did Ohio State go too far with penalizing him, or did they do the right thing to establish a precedent? Tell us how you feel on the University's decision in the comment section below.

I bet had the student plowed over the coach in this video, he may have received a call from the head coach of Ohio State to tryout for the team next year.
