OutKast to Headline Drake’s OVO Fest This Summer

If the news of OutKast embarking on a reunion tour isn’t exciting enough, now comes word that the duo will perform on the biggest stage in Canada with Toronto’s biggest rap star.

Through his October’s Very Own blog, Drake has announced that OutKast will be headlining Night 1 (Aug. 3) of his 5th annual OVO Fest with special guests. Drizzy will perform on the following night (Aug. 4) with his own selection of special guests.

Last year, Kanye West made a surprise appearance at the festival, which effectively debunked the rumors that Yeezy and Drizzy had beef with each other. Big Sean, J. Cole, Miguel and Diddy made cameo appearances at the event as well.

It’s a safe bet that Drake will introduce new artists on his OVO Sound label at OVO Fest. As for OutKast, we hope that the whole Dungeon Family can make it and stankify the stage for their Canadian fans.

Tickets for the two-day event will go on sale Feb. 21 at Live Nation.
