Outkast To Reunite And Headline Coachella In 2014
Before we begin, this is not a typo. Outkast will reunite and tour in 2014. Yesterday, it was rumored that the legendary hip-hop duo was "in talks" to headline next year's Coachella; but now we have learned that in addition to that festival date, Andre 3000 and BIg Boi will reunite for a reunion tour.
According to Revolt TV,
the reunion is currently set to exist solely in the live setting, with no new album plans in sight, for now.
Big Boi and Andre 3000 haven't collaborated on music in seven years, and it's been even longer since they have performed on the same stage together. There have been rumors of a solo album from Andre 3000, but to no avail.
2014 marks the 20th year since the debut of Outkast's first album. So there's that.
