OWI Checkpoint Friday Night In Lafayette

The Lafayette Police Department will have an OWI checkpoint in Lafayette starting at 9 p.m. tomorrow night.

Lafayette officers will be looking to remove any impaired drivers from our roadways.

The checkpoint will be somewhere within the incorporated limits of Lafayette and will run through 3 o'clock Saturday morning.

The Police Department reminds drivers they respond with zero tolerance to all impaired drivers.

Why not designate a driver before you go out for the evening? Otherwise, your arrest can mean costly fines and jail time along with the possibility of ending a life, maybe even your own.
