Paul Bearer Dead — WWE Legend Dies At 58

We are sad to report the news that WWE Legend Paul Bearer, real name William Moody, is dead at age 58. Details surrounding his death are currently unclear, but it is reported that he has dealt with serious health issues over the last decade. WWE released a statement tonight offering their condolences.

WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of William Moody, aka Paul Bearer.

 

Moody made his WWE debut in 1991 as the manager of The Undertaker and went on to become a memorable part of WWE over the course of the next 20 years. Our deepest condolences go out to Moody’s family, friends and fans.

 

Moody played the role of a funeral director, managing WWE stars like Kane, The Undertaker and Mankind. His pale faced character was known for carrying an urn and speaking in a high pitched creepy voice.
