‘Paws in the Park’ May 2 in New Iberia

Our friends at Angel Paws Adoption Center in New Iberia, and the Iberia Humane Society are holding their annual 'Paws in the Park' walking event at New Iberia City Park and they are looking for participants! On May 2, family members, and furry friends are welcome, and prizes will be awarded to the person or team that brings in the most sponsorships for their walkers. Angel Paws cares for 100 plus cats and dogs that reside at the shelter, and so sponsorships and donations are always welcome! The registration fee is $10 for ages 6 and up, and you can pre register or just show up at 9:00 am the day of the event. Festivities will be held from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, and there will be great food, arts and crafts booths, a small dog race, and lots more for the entire family - including pets, so don't miss out!
