Pedestrian Killed On Interstate Ten In Lafayette

Early this morning, Lafayette Police were called out to I-10 Westbound near the Ambassador Caffery exit after a pedestrian was killed.

Police went to investigate after a man walking along Interstate ten was hit by multiple cars.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

While one of the lanes of Interstate Ten Westbound was shutdown during the overnight hours, the roadway is  now open again.

Police plan to give more details about the death later today.
