After torrential rains and lighting halted the Budweiser Made in America festival for a couple of hours on Sunday (Aug. 31), Pharrell Williams brought sunshine to the Philadelphia event with his set of upbeat hits.

The hitmaker, donning a red bandana and matching Bee Line x Timberland boots, had the crowd dancing in puddles to buoyant tracks like 'Lose Yourself to Dance,' 'Come and Get It Bae' and 'Flirtin'.'

According to Philly.com, Skateboard P took a moment to honored the Philadelphia musicians and producers who helped developed the Philly soul sound.

“The best musicians in the word come from Philadelphia,” he said. “From Philadelphia International Records all the way up to the Roots to everyone in the band up here tonight, they all have Philly ties.”

Williams closed his show with a rendition of his ubiquitous hit 'Happy.' On a day that left many concertgoers soggy and wet, P was able to bring some sunshine to the rain-soaked festival.
