This past Tuesday (Nov. 20), the Hollywood Walk of Fame stars of various celebrities were defaced, and among them was the star placed in Pharrell's honor. TMZ reported the news earlier today (Nov. 21).

According to the celebrity news site, Pharrell's star is covered in what appears to be black spray paint and it will cost $1,000 for it to be cleaned and resealed. Local authorities have since started a report and will investigate the incident.

As we mentioned before, the "Happy" rapper's star, which he received in December of 2014, wasn't the only one to get an unwanted marking. The stars of Jennifer Lopez, Ellen DeGeneres, and singer Michael Buble were also defaced. Buble's star has since been scrubbed clean. At press time, no suspect has been arrested for the vandalism.

Pharrell's star marks the 2,537th star on the Walk of Fame. On the topic of the famed walk, Snoop Dogg was added to the star family on Monday (Nov. 19). The ceremony was held in front of the Jimmy Kimmel Live! studio location. Pharrell, Jimmy Kimmel, Quincy Jones and Dr. Dre were in attendance to support Uncle Snoop. Snoop's star marks the 2,651st star on the famed walk.

In other Pharrell-related news, he recently teamed up with Mike Will Made-It and Kendrick Lamar for a track called "The Mantra," which is featured on Creed II soundtrack. The track was released on Nov. 13.
