A pizza delivery driver--a teenage woman--was robbed at knifepoint Friday night, according to Lafayette Police.

Spokesperson Cpl. Paul Mouton said the 18-year-old woman was delivering $270 worth of pizza to an apartment complex on Ambassador Caffery when she was approached by a man who was holding a knife and wearing a bandana over his face.

The suspect stole the pizzas and then fled on foot, Mouton said. The victim was not injured.

Police found the suspect, 30-year-old Anthony Daniels, a short time later in the complex. He was carrying multiple pizza boxes, Mouton said, and he had hidden the warming bags in nearby bushes.

Daniels was arrested and charged with armed robbery.
