Last weekend, Dallas hosted the annual Miss Texas Pole Dance 2011 Competition. While the competition was fierce and competitive, it required lots of strength, flexibility, and athleticism from all of it's competitors. One of the competitors, Brynn Route, who is a pole dancer instructor says that she embracced this hobby when she couldn't find anything fun to do while trying to stay in shape.  The organizer of the event says he wanted to give women a chance to show ase their skills, agility, and pole fitness skills.

Jennifer Huff of San Antonio was named the new Miss Texas Pole Dance at Sunday's competition.  She says pole dancing is an amazing art form.
