Police Officer’s Dash-Cam Catches Lightning Strike [VIDEO]

A police officer's dash-cam caught a lightning strike that was way too close for comfort. 

As the officer was driving down the road, a bolt of lightning hit the road just feet from his car. This incredible footage was caught on a highway somewhere in Mississippi.

We have seen our share of crazy weather and lightning in Acadiana, but I don't recall seeing anything like this. Imagine how loud this must have been.
