Police Looking For Man Who Swung Bat During Burglary [PHOTO]

Police are looking for a man who reportedly swung a baseball bat at someone when he was caught inside a home he was robbing.

Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office says the suspect went into a home in the 100 block of Opus Lane while the victim wasn't home. Upon his return home, the victim encountered the suspect who then picked up a bat and swung at the victim.

The suspect did not hit the victim but managed to flee out of the door of the home. According to the KATC, nothing was stolen from the home, but police are asking for your help.
