Pot-smoking Mom Is Tired Of Being Judged

No matter what you have heard lately smoking marijuana is illegal in the United States, even if you don't get caught.  I used to think it was only the big time celebrities who could really get away with a little 'puff puff pass,' but it looks like a couple of mothers are jumping on the train.Margret, who is a singer/songwriter mom for her 6 and 8 -year-old children, says that some nights she feels a bit uptight and likes to relax like everyone else.  I think we all understand what it feels like to be tied up with family, work, school, or just life in general....sometimes we need to get away.  Rather than pouring herself and nice glass of wine at the end of the day, Margret likes to head out to the garage and light up some reefer!

But instead of pouring herself a glass or two of merlot, she heads to the standalone garage next to their house for a few puffs of Humboldt Kush, one of the four strains of pot she smokes seven days a week." Via msnbc

Don't be too quick to judge though, its not like she shows it off or anything.  Margret, who is 45, never allows her children to go into the room where she keeps her 'stash.'  Plus, she thinks that puffing the magic dragon is way better that what half the moms are doing now days.

Being judged for doing something nontoxic and totally organic, enjoying a god-given plant, by moms who suck back two bottles of Chardonnay like sports drinks feels like s---,” complains Margaret. “Any hypocrisy is hard to swallow. A drunk mother is pathetic and I often leave parties when I experience other mothers tying one on."
