President Obama Sparks Outrage By Saluting Marines With Styrofoam Cup In Hand [VIDEO]

The internet was on fire when this video surfaced of President Obama exiting his Marine One helicopter and saluting a pair of United States Marines with a cup in his hand.

As you can see, President Obama walks out of the helicopter and salutes the marines while holding what appears to be a Styrofoam cup in hand. The President is known for sipping tea prior to speeches, and minutes after he exited the chopper he delivered a speech on the attacks going on in Syria.

It's a tradition for the commander-in-chief to salute uniformed servicemen and women who salute him first as a sign of respect. Now, some service people say they were offended when the commander-in-chief offered up such a nonchalant salute.

This isn't the first time President Obama fumbles with a salute. If you recall, in 2013 he forgot to salute a serviceman when he boarded chopper, but returned down below to shake the young man's hand.
