Prince was remembered at Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall on Sunday night (May 15), where the music icon worshipped before his death last month.

Billboard reports that media and fans were kept well away from the invite-only ceremony that commemorated the fallen musician's life. City spokeswoman Kari Spreeman said last week that the city was preparing for up to 500 people, including up to 50 high-profile guests.

The program reportedly featured a video from renowned bassist Larry Graham, who mentored Prince and also introduced him to the religion, and opened with the song "He Will Call," which was followed by a prayer.

"His joy — his biggest joy — was sharing the hope of everlasting life," Graham said.

On the back of the program, was a quote from Prince's song, "Beautiful, Loved and Blessed" from his 2006 album 3121. It read, "If I were to ever write down my life story, I could truly say with all the fame and glory, I was just a piece of clay in need of the potter's hand."

Authorities are still investigating his Prince's death.
