A Proposal At UL-Lafayette Ragin Cajun Field [VIDEO]

Some of you may have seeen this special moment last weekend at Cajun Field during the UL and Southern game. A young man dropped to one knee in front of over 36,000 fans to ask his girlfriend for her hand in marriage.

Andre Higginbotham came up with the idea to ask his girlfriend, Ashley Gary, for her hand in marriage from the turf at Cajun Field. Yes, not only did he come up with the master plan to pull this off, but he also built up the nerve to get down on one knee in front of so many people.

Ashley said "Yes" to the proposal, and the two walked off the field hand-in-hand. We wish the newly engaged couple the best of luck, and can't wait for our invitation to this Ragin' Cajun wedding.
