There's more discussions coming in regards to a toll road loop around the city of Lafayette.

According to KATC, "The Lafayette Metropolitan Expressway Commission is preparing to refocus on one of the more ambitious infrastructure proposals in Lafayette's history, a toll road loop around the city."

I ask, do you think that this will solve the traffic nightmare in Lafayette? Would a loop around the city help reduce the congestion on some of the major roadways in Lafayette?

And more importantly, would you use a toll road to bypass the traffic in Lafayette? Personally, I would. If I could loop around the city and save 20-30 minutes in my commute, it would be worth the few bucks out of my pocket.

The report out today says that the discussion will resume this fall and if the road is built it will be called the "Lafayette Regional Expressway."
