Not sure if this is a case of karma, the pot calling the kettle black or "do as I say, not as I do", but David Schubert, the District Attorney who prosecuted Bruno Mars for the incident in the Las Vegas hotel last year was recently arrested himself. The Las Vegas Review Journal says:

Schubert, a chief deputy district attorney, recently prosecuted the Bruno Mars and Paris Hilton celebrity drug cases.

District Attorney David Roger said Schubert was also the prosecutor he assigned to a federal drug task force.

Roger said he was notified almost immediately after the arrest and worked with detectives to secure warrants for a blood sample and Schubert's two Las Vegas homes.

"It's disheartening to know the individual who I assigned to prosecute high-level drug cases is allegedly using rock cocaine," Roger said.

He was also the prosecutor for the Paris Hilton case. It makes me wonder, will he get the same sentencing as Paris and Bruno? If you were the judge in this case, what would you decide regarding what punishment Schubert should get (if he's proven guilty)?
