In addition to his sick handles and fearless approach to the game, Allen Iverson was also known for his unapologetic attitude, channeling hip-hop culture in dress, speech and personality unlike it had even been before. Similarly, Pusha T has built a name for himself in rap off of tough talk and tougher bars, but he totally lost his cool when meeting Iverson recently.

Iverson hails from Hampton, Virginia, which is about 30 miles outside of Push's hometown of Virginia Beach, so while most NBA fans feel a special affection for A.I., Pusha's is in a whole different stratosphere.  "Signed @theofficialai3 jersey from the Hall of Famer himself...those who know, REALLY KNOW what this means to me....we all have idols, mine just happens to be from my hometown. #757," Pusha wrote beneath a video of himself and Iverson.

Pusha once said in an interview, "Allen Iverson is, like, my all-time hero," and his excitement is obvious above, as he clutches to a signed Iverson jersey, shouting, "You can't tell me nothing." The admiration and respect seem to be mutual, though A.I. doesn't fan out quite to the same degree.

Iverson was back in the news recently as he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame as a first ballot nominee. Pusha likewise returned to the spotlight last night as his single "Drug Dealers Anonymous" with Jay Z just dropped. Peep the Instagram video capturing the exchange between the two up above.
