An arrest warrant was issued for R. Kelly’s ex-manager after he allegedly threatened the family of one of the alleged accusers.

According to CNN, James Mason allegedly threatened to kill the father of Joycelyn Savage, one of the women featured in the Lifetime docuseries, Surviving R. Kelly. Mason allegedly made the threat against Timothy Savage in May 2018.

In an incident report obtained by CNN, Mr. Savage stated that Mason said, "I'm gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I'm gonna get you, I'm going to fucking kill you.” Mr. Savage later filed a police report in Georgia's Harris County.

The report was then sent to a magistrate judge in Georgia, who issued an arrest warrant against Mason for his “terroristic threats and acts” in July 2018.

Joycelyn Savage’s family appeared in the Lifetime’s docuseries claiming that R. Kelly kidnapped their daughter and is holding her against her will. Joycelyn has previously denied her parents' claim that she's being held against her will in a video interview released in 2017.

When reached for a statement on Wednesday morning (Jan. 9), Mason told CNN he had "no comment" and deferred additional questions to his attorney.

This isn't the first time one of R. Kelly's associates threatened Joycelyn's parents. The singer's current manager, Don Russell, is under investigation for allegedly threatening the Savages after their appearance in the Lifetime docuseries.

Meanwhile, prosecutors in both Chicago are looking for witnesses to come forward if they have ever been in abused by the R&B singer or been a witness to said abuse.
