‘Race Against The Clock’ Marathon Blood Drive Thursday & Friday

United Blood Services issued an emergency appeal for donations last week. Supplies are dangerously low. The annual "Race Against the Clock" Marathon Blood Drive is set for this Thursday & Friday, July 14th & 15th. Hours are 7am-10pm Thursday, 8am-4pm. Fri. July is a peak travel month. This is a one - two punch, because the need increases  while donations drop off. There will be great food from Meche's Donuts, Whole Foods, Chuy's & the Jamabalaya Shoppe. While supplies last, donors receive a donor t-shirt (see above), and freebies from McDonald's, Nothing bunt Cakes, La Madeleine, Auntie Anne's Pretzels, & Comet Cleaners. There will be  more than 250 hourly prizes, tickets to see Elton john, a TV, and a vacation valued up to $6,000! The center is located at 1503 Bertrand Drive.
