Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns rebounded from their loss a week ago with a dominating win on the road against Middle Tennessee Saturday night by the score of 45-20. The Cajuns conquered the Blue Raiders from start to finish, especially in the run game. Freshmen Alonzo Harris finished with 189yards on the ground and 2 scores. As a team, Louisiana finished with 338 yards rushing, and an average of 6.3 per carry.

The UL defense forced 3 turnovers, and took all the fireworks out of a Middle Tennessee offense that had been one of the most explosive in the Sun Belt Conference.

Cajun linebacker Devon-Lewis Buchanon returned a Logan Kilgore interception 55 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter. It was the 6th "pick six" of the season for the Ragin' Cajun defense.

Blaine Gautier only played the first 3 quarters, but finished with 139 yards and a score through the air, as well as 95 yards and a score on the ground.

With the win, Louisiana improves to 5-1 in conference play, and 7-2 overall. The win marks the first time UL has reached the 7 win mark since 1993 when Jake Delhomme was quarterbacking the Cajuns.

Next week the Cajuns return home for senior day as they host ULM at 2:30 in the home finale. You can hear all the action right here on espn1420.com.
