A data scientist has figured out who is the most loquacious rhymer in the rap game. Matt Daniels, a digital analyst, has created a chart that explores which rapper has the largest vocabulary. The end result may surprise you.

According to Daniels' project, "The Largest Vocabulary in Hip-Hop," New York wordsmith Aesop Rock had the highest number of unique words used at 7,392. The GZA was next with 6,426 words followed by several different members of the Wu-Tang Clan. Rappers Canibus and Kool Keith also ranked high on the list.

As for the break down of the chart, it’s a little complicated. Daniels tallies the number of unique words from the first 35,000 lyrics of 85 artists and uses Shakespeare as his barometer because he used 28,829 words, suggesting he knew over 100,000 words and arguably had the largest vocabulary, ever.

Unfortunately, artists like Kendrick Lamar and Notorious B.I.G. were not included in the process because they didn’t have much content.

So in the end, Aesop Rock was crowned the most verbalistic while DMX had the least vocab out of 85 rap artists.
