Baton Rouge Re-Bath owner Ron Leclerc, known for the TV commercials that featured his granddaughter, Haleigh, has passed away.

Leclerc, 62, died Sunday night at a hospital after battling cancer for the past few months. The Re-Bath owner was known for the commercials he produced for his business that featured his granddaughter who endearingly referred to Leclerc as her "Pépère"—a french word for grandpa.

According to WBRZ, Leclerc opened Re-Bath of South Louisiana in 2003 and was a supporter of the Baton Rouge Cancer Association's Relay for Life. He is survived by his wife Janice, daughter Christy Beard and her husband Brent Beard, and three grandchildren, Haileigh, Bryce and Bryn.
