A referee stopped a college football game to address the noise being made by the band and cheerleaders!!

During the Toledo and Central Michigan game, the head official stopped the game and reset the play clock in the stadium because the band and cheerleaders were TOO LOUD!!

You can see on the face of the cheerleaders that they were confused and the announcers on ESPN were taken back by this ruling.

I'd like to think that I know must of the rules in football, but I have NEVER seen an official stop a game to address the noise being made by a band and cheerleaders.
