Remy Ma and Papoose Renew Wedding Vows After 10 Years of Marriage
"This weekend I celebrated a milestone with my best friend, my partner in everything, my husband, my forever @papoosepapoose I love you so much," Ma wrote in an Instagram post, "not only because you are the perfect soulmate but because you are the epitome of a real man, the essence of a great father, and the definition of loyalty & if I could start life over the only thing I would change is meeting you sooner so that I can spend more time with you."
Remy rapper first married Papoose over the phone in 2008 while she was incarcerated in New York state prison. The Love & Hip Hop: New York co-stars held a proper wedding ceremony in 2016 after Remy's release, complete with angel statues, a massive cake and the minister who married them over the phone years earlier.
The pair hosted their vow renewals in a small ceremony with family and close friends. The "All the Way Up" rapper sported a custom Karen Sabag gown and floor-length veil, while Pap tossed slacks with a baby blue blazer, tie and loafers. He sounded ecstatic.
"Our marriage has been the best 10 years of my life! Needed to reassure her that I still worship the ground she walks on. I would advise all married couples to do it! It’s a reminder of the obligations, loyalty, love & respect u owe to your partner," Papoose wrote on Instagram.
Last we heard, the couple was aiming for a child. Remy also appeared with longtime collaborator French Montana on the soundtrack for Uncle Drew, which hit theaters this weekend. You can view photos of Remy Ma and Papoose's vow renewal ceremony below.
