New Orleans Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro is in the midst of his best professional season. Unfortunately, he may have just hit a road block.

According to an NFL Network report, Vaccaro now faces a 4 game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy by taking Adderall.

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com is reporting he will be on the field Sunday when New Orleans hosts the Denver Broncos.

If Vaccaro's appeal does not overturn the suspension, his absence will hinder a Saints defense in need of his versatility.

Defensive coordinator Dennis Allen has utlized 3 safety sets a lot this season, putting Vaccaro on the field with safeties Jairus Byrd and Vonn Bell.

Vaccaro's 44 tackles is currently 2nd best on the team.

New Orleans (4-4) hosts Denver (6-3) Sunday at noon.
