Bad news for Rick Ross. The Miami rapper was indicted on kidnapping and aggravated battery and assault charges stemming from his June 2015 arrest.

As we previously reported, The Maybach Music Group honcho and bodyguard, Nadrian Lateef James, was arrested last June after he allegedly got into an altercation with one of the groundskeeper and pistol-whipped him.

The alleged victim, Jonathan Zamudio, has since sued Rozay for injuries he suffered during the incident. Ross has countersued claiming that Zamudio is trying to extort money from him.

TMZ is reporting that a grand jury has found Ross guilty of the aforementioned crimes. However, Ross’s attorney, Steve Sadow, is fighting back and maintaining his client's innocence in the case.

Sadow says that Ross was acting in self-defense and that he shouldn’t be prosecuted because Zamudio was allegedly partying with cocaine and drug paraphernalia at the guest house of the rapper's Georgia estate.

Sadow adds that he will tell the judge that Ross was "acting in self-defense and in defense of his property when he encountered the trespassers."

Attorneys for Zamudio had no comment on the matter.

Somewhere, 50 Cent is snickering at this although he has his own legal issues to contend with as well.
