Riff Raff Calls Himself the White Kanye West, Announces New Album

Riff Raff has deemed himself the white Kanye West. The Houston rapper's strange declaration came with the announcement of a new album called The White West, which is due out in June.

"IM THE WHiTE KANYE WEST SO NEW ALBUM DROPPiNG JUNE 24 2017," he wrote on social media. "THE WHiTE WEST."

Riff Raff's next LP will follow a busy 2016, which saw him drop two projects. The rapper released his Peach Panther album in the summer, then followed it up with the Halloween-themed Balloween in October.

Jody Highroller is also one of the few rappers to express any modicum of praise for Donald Trump. Riff Raff recently said he would perform at Trump's presidential inauguration for $50,000.

“Well, I love money. And I’m in America. And I was born in America. And I love money. So why wouldn’t I?” he said. “I’ve had enough money taken away from me by the Government, why shouldn’t I perform?”

Riff Raff was also optimistic about Trump’s presidency. Riff Raff really seemed to like the possibility of having lower taxes.

“Somebody told me Donald Trump is going to lower the taxes from 40 percent to 15 percent,” he said. “That’s 300,000 to 400,000 in my bank account personally. That’s a Lambo a year…money that I’ve been giving away to whoever it is. I don’t care if it’s pack of Starbursts that’s running for President.”

Maybe Riff Raff is more similar to Kanye West than it seems on the surface.
