Rihanna Sued by Photographer Over ‘S&M’ Pics
Looks like Rihanna is getting more backlash surrounding her brand new song S & M. Ri Ri is being sued by a photographer for copying his image in her S & M music video.
Uh-oh, Rihanna has been bad! The ‘Only Girl (In the World)’ singer is being sued by a celebrity photographer for copying his image in her new risque ‘S&M‘ video.Rihanna is getting more pain than pleasure from her latest sexy video, because photographer David LaChapelle is suing her for one of the images she used to represent the media’s obsession with pop culture — notably, the scene where the pop diva is surrounded by reporters in clown costumes.
LaChapelle claims that more than one scene in Rihanna’s new music video is a direct copy of his original work. “The music video is directly derived from and substantially similar to the LaChapelle works,” the statement says, adding that the imagery copies the “composition, total concept, feel, tone, mood, theme, colors, props, settings, decors, wardrobe and lighting of his work.”
No one in Rihanna’s camp has been reached for comment. The singer performed two songs at last night’s Grammy’s — one with Eminem, and one with Drake.
