Lane Closures Happening Over Next 2 Weeks On I-10 Atchafalaya Basin Bridge
From Thursday until Tuesday (January 17-22), the left inside lane and shoulder of I-10 EASTBOUND between mile markers 117 and 118.5 will be closed as DOTD workers move barriers currently in the I-10 EASTBOUND left lane roadway at the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge and widen the lanes leading to the EASTBOUND Atchafalaya Basin Bridge. This will happen NIGHTLY from 8 PM to 6 AM.
Tonight on the I-10 Atchafalaya Basin Bridge at Mile Marker 118 - the base of the bridge - the outside lane and shoulder of I-10 EASTBOUND will be closed from 8 PM to 6 AM, weather permitting. DOTD workers will be repairing the damaged guardrail.
Also, because of necessary deck and barrier rail repairs, DOTD officials are performing alternating lane and shoulder closures IN BOTH DIRECTIONS from MM 129.0 (Whiskey Bay) and MM 117.4 (between Cecilia/Henderson & Butte La Rose exits).
- Monday thru Thursday (Jan. 6-10): 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM

- Sunday thru Thursday (Jan. 13-17): 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM (ONLY WESTBOUND)
