Pro Football Talk posted a
tweet from FOX Sports Alex Marvez reporting the news that Ryan was out in New Orleans.

The tipping point of Ryan's woes came yesterday after Kirk Cousins and the Washington Redskins lit up the Saints for four touchdowns and no interceptions—the third team in as many games to hang insane stats on the Saints lackluster defense.

The Saints’ pass defense has been abysmal this season. Yesterday, Kirk Cousins torched the Saints for four touchdowns with no interceptions. Last week it was Marcus Mariota throwing four touchdowns and no interceptions in New Orleans. A week earlier, Eli Manning had six touchdowns and no interceptions against the Saints.

For those keeping score at home, that's an NFL record. The NFL record that Ryan's defense holds? The worst pass defense in NFL history.

This doesn't mean things are automatically "fixed" in New Orleans when it comes to the problems the Saints have been faced with this season, but as the old saying goes: The first step is admitting you have a problem, and the Saints had a HUGE one.

The black and gold are currently on pace to allow 45 touchdown passes in the 2015 regular season; the NFL record is 40.

We haven't seen or heard from Ryan yet, but we have a feeling it may go a little something like this.
