LCG Mayor-President Joel Robideaux assessed the damage from the skies again today and told KPEL's Bernadette Lee that the parish's  coulee system is draining water from neighborhoods, but some parish residents are still surrounded by water.

He said he still suggests residents stay off of the road to avoid: getting stranded and displacing emergency personnel from other important tasks; and driving on flooded roads and push water further into homes and businesses.

As of 12:30 p.m., Robideaux said he does not foresee having to institute a curfew for Sunday.
