Robin Thicke is excited about being nominated for several MTV Video Music Awards this year, but he warns, he might be drunk during the ceremony.

The crooner predicted what he'll do if 'Blurred Lines' wins Video of the Year.

"Should I win it? Well, if I win Video of the Year, by then, I'll probably be roaring drunk, and I'll have to be very careful what I say onstage," he told MTV News. "I'll keep it simple. I'm just gonna say, 'Thank you. Thank you to all the people that voted. Thank you to my lovely wife and friends for putting up with me for all these years.'"

'Blurred Lines,' off Thicke's sixth studio album of the same name, is also nominated for Best Male Video and Best Collaboration. His LP arrives July 30.

The MTV VMA ceremony takes place live from Brooklyn's Barclays Center Sun, Aug. 25.
