At the moment, we don't know the future of Peyton Manning's NFL career—but "if this is it" Russell Wilson has offered up a touching tribute.

Manning lifted the Lombardi Trophy after outlasting Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in Super Bowl 50. When asked (multiple times) if he was planning on retiring, the Broncos QB responded by saying he had other things he needed to do before making a decision like that, choosing to keep the focus on his team and their moment.

Two years ago, Manning was on the losing end of Super Bowl 48 against Russell Wilson, but according to the Seahawks quarterback, he owes it all to 'The Sheriff.'

Wilson posted a tribute to The Players' Tribune on the morning after Peyton's Super Bowl win detailing all of the highlights of Manning's career that inspired him as a quarterback—but one in particular stood out amongst the rest.

10th grade. Louisiana. At your quarterback camp. You inspired the kid in the green shirt,

Russell is talking about The Manning Passing Academy—held annually at Nicholls and run by Peyton, his brothers Cooper and Eli and their father Archie.

On a day where we are digesting every detail from Super Bowl 50 and everything that surrounded it, this is great stuff.
