The New Orleans Saints return to action on Thursday evening, when they play host to the Atlanta Falcons in a match-up of NFC South foes.

Kickoff time at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome is scheduled for 7:25 pm, and you can hear all the play-by-play action on ESPN 1420, as well as 97.3 The Dawg.

The game marks the first of three of the next four that the Saints will play in New Orleans.

New Orleans, who fell to the Philadelphia Eagles, 39-17, last Sunday, will enter the game at 1-4, while Atlanta, who defeated the Washington Redskins, 25-19, last week, is currently unbeaten at 5-0.
The Falcons lead the all-time series between the two franchises, 49-43, and have won two-straight over the Saints.

Offensively, the Saints are averaging 20.6 points-per-game, along with 387.4 total yards, including 302.0 passing yards, and 85.4 rushing yards-per-game.

New Orleans is led by quarterback Drew Brees, who has thrown for 1,304 yards and six touchdowns, along with running back Mark Ingram, who has rushed for 261 yards and two touchdowns, and receiver Brandin Cooks, who has caught 25 passes for 322 yards and a touchdown.

The Falcons, offensively, are averaging 32.4 points, 406.2 total yards, 280.2 passing yards, and 126.0 rushing yards a game.

Atlanta is paced by quarterback Matt Ryan, who has thrown for 1,456 yards and 6 touchdowns, running back Devonta Freeman, who has rushed for 405 yards and eight touchdowns, and receiver Julio Jones, who has caught 43 passes for 545 yards and four scores.

Defensively, the Saints are giving an average of 409.0 yards-per-game, worst in the league, including 273.2 passing yards and 135.8 rushing yards, while the Falcons are allowing 366.4 total yards, including 288.0 passing yards and a league-best 78.4 rushing yards.
