The New Orleans Saints are back in action on Sunday afternoon, when host to the Los Angeles Rams in a showdown of NFC foes.

Kickoff time at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La. is scheduled for noon, and you can hear all the play-by-play action on ESPN 1420 and 97.3 The Dawg.

You can also watch the game locally in the Acadiana area on FOX-15.

The Rams lead the all-time series between the two franchises, 40-32, and have won the last two match-ups, including a 27-16 triumph back in 2013, in the last meeting between the two.

The Rams were located in Los Angeles for the first 29 years of the Saints' history, before moving to St. Louis in 1995, and then back to Los Angeles for the start of the 2016 season.

New Orleans, who fell to the Carolina Panthers, 23-20, on Thursday of last week, has won four of their last seven games, and is 4-6 on the season, while Los Angeles, who lost to the Miami Dolphins, 14-10, on Sunday, will also enter the match-up at 4-6.

Offensively, the Saints are averaging 28.5 points-per-game, along with 422.0 total yards, including 316.8 passing yards, and 105.2 rushing yards-per-game.

New Orleans is led by quarterback Drew Brees, who has thrown for 3,277 yards and 26 touchdowns, along with running back Mark Ingram, who has rushed for 575 yards and two touchdowns, but entered the NFL's concussion protocol after a big hit in the game against the Panthers, and is a question mark, and receiver Michael Thomas, who has caught 56 passes for 681 yards and five touchdowns.

The Rams, offensively, are averaging 14.9 points, 299.9 total yards, 215.4 passing yards, and 84.5 rushing yards a game this season.

Los Angeles is paced by quarterback Jared Goff, who completed 17-of-31 passes for 134 yards in his NFL debut last week against Miami, along with running back Todd Gurley, who has rushed for 597 yards and four touchdowns, and receiver Kenny Britt, who has compiled 49 receptions for 736 yards and three touchdowns.

Defensively, the Saints are giving up an average of 382.8 yards-per-game, including 280.7 passing yards and 102.1 rushing yards, while the Rams have allowed 318.3 total yards, including 215.7 passing yards and 102.6 rushing yards.
