The New Orleans Saints thought they may be losing one of their running backs to free agency.

Travaris Cadet showed interest in signing with Buffalo or the New York Jets, but according to Aaron Wilson, will remain in New Orleans.


The 28-year old Cadet, who previously played for the Saints from 2012-2014, played in 15 games for the Saints last season, including one start, rushing for 19 yards on 4 carries.

A native of Miami, Florida, Cadet, is know more as a receiving back however, totaling 40 catches for 281 yards, to go along with 4 touchdowns, last season.

In parts of 5 NFL seasons, Cadet has accumulated 102 catches for 840 yards and 7 touchdowns.
