Two weeks and a day from today (July 10), that's when your New Orleans Saints will open their training camp and for the faithful, that day can't come soon enough. The team released their official training camp schedule yesterday and it includes several opportunities for fans to get an up close and personal look at the team.

Just three days after training camp opens on July 25th the team will hold its first public practice. That practice, July 28th, will be from 8:50 to 11:40 at the Oschner Sports Performance Center in Metairie. That practice will also be the first time the team works out in pads so there should be a lot to see.

Other open practices on the schedule will be held July 29th through August 2nd. The lone exception will be July 31st when no practice will be held. Other open practice dates for the team will be held on August 4th and 5th, August 11th and 12th, and a final open practice is scheduled for August 19th.

Fan access to the team is subject change and could be affected by weather conditions in the New Orleans area. Should the team have to move inside because of inclement weather then fans won't be allowed into the facility because of space restrictions.

One nice thing for fans to consider is that six of the open practice dates are on weekends. That way more fans will have the chance to experience the team's preparations for the upcoming season.
