Science Teacher Can Finally Shave Beard

In the wake of Osama bin Laden’s death, an Eastern Washington teacher, who has been on a shaving strike since the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center is once again, smooth-faced!Nearly a decade ago, Gary Weddle, a life science teacher at Ephrata Middle School, was stunned by the events on September 11th. In a promise he made to himself, Weddle says that when he saw the World Trade Center Towers come tumbling down, it was then when he decided not to shave until Osama bin Laden was captured or killed because he wanted those around him to remember the terrorist attack. As you can see in the photo, the teacher is all shaved, and YES we "got him."
