You Can Expect To Catch More Than Beads At Scott Mardi Gras Parade [PHOTO]

Get ready for the Scott Mardi Gras parade this weekend.

Amanda Guilbeau posted this photo of a "Kween Cake" on Facebook and she says that she and her Krewe will be tossing these from their float in the Scott Mardi Gras parade.

Look, I enjoy catching beads and stuffed animals at parades, but to catch a "Kween Cake" may be on the top of my list this year---They are that good!

So, be sure to look for "Krewe The Red Hot Scott" on a 40-foot trailer Sunday in Scott and maybe you'll be lucky enough to score one of these treats.

No longer are Mardi Gras parades about beads, now we can toss in sweets and I'm fine with it. I do encourage parents to inspect anything kids catch that they can consume. Much like you should already do for Halloween.
