The Scott Police Department is searching for a man wanted for attempted bank fraud after attempting to cash a fake check at Home Bank on June 16.

Scott Police Chief Chad Leger said an arrest warrant has been issued for Marshall Harden Jr. who tried to cash a payroll check Tuesday. As the bank teller began verifying the check, the suspect became irritated as she began copying his information. Harden then grabbed his identification card from the teller and left the fraudulent check.

Harden, listed as being homeless, is being sought by Scott Police.
