It looks like Sean Kingston is ready to get back to music and he’s enlisted the King of the South to help him with his comeback.

The ‘Beautiful Girls’ crooner has teamed up with T.I. for his title track ‘Back 2 Life.’ According to Rap-Up, the pair recently shot a video together in Los Angeles.

Director Benny Boom is helming the clip, which also features a guest appearance from comedian Mike Epps. Kingston posted a few pictures from the set on his Twitter account and also gave a shout out to Tip.

Looking at the photos, we can see that Kingston has slimmed down a bit from his old husky frame. It’s obvious the singer is watching what he eats and is exercising daily.

It’s been a long journey for Kingston. After surviving his jet ski accident and open-heart surgery last year, the 22-year-old crooner has a new lease on life — which explains why he’s calling his new album ‘Back 2 Life.’

“I’m going back in with my producer J.R. [Rotem], who did really big records for me. I’m going back to the whole reggae, island-pop thing,” he said last year, while working on the album. “I’m going back to my roots.”

“I haven’t lost no memory; I think I’m even better at writing and stuff,” he continues. “Being in the hospital, having all this time off, I’ve been writing and coming up with different ideas. I’m ready to go. The world needs to know what I’m coming with, ’cause I’m coming with straight heat.”

Well, it’s good to see Kingston is back on his feet and raring to go. We can’t wait to hear his new material.
