New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton purchased 100 jerseys of Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still, whose 4-year-old daughter has pediatric cancer.

In case you don't know his story, Still's focus wasn't 100% on football in the preseason as his daughter, Leah, being diagnosed with pediatric cancer—but the Cincinnati Bengals signed him to the practice squad, so he could still receive health insurance and travel to see his daughter on the weekends.

Still has since been signed to the active roster, and in an effort of continued support the Bengals announced Monday that they would sell his jersey with 100% of the proceeds going to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and pediatric cancer research.

Since the announcement, more than 1,000 Still jerseys have been sold—more than any jersey in that time span in Bengals team history.

Its great to hear such an good story out of the NFL, especially with the negative cloud that has been looming over the shield as backlash from the mishandling of the Ray Rice situation continues.

The Saints will be facing Still and the Bengals in the Superdome on November 16, and win or lose, it will be special when Payton and Still meet face to face after this incredible gesture. Let's just hope little Leah continues to fight and beats this nasty disease to become healthy again.

You can keep up with Devon and his daughter Leah on his official Instagram page. Warning: Some of these photos are adorable.

As a St. Jude station full of Saints fans, it makes us proud to call Sean Payton our head coach.
