Check Out This Real Second Line In The Treme Area Of New Orleans [VIDEO]

This is the real-deal second line.

Mitchell Player lives in the Treme' area of New Orleans. This area of New Orleans is known for New Orleans musicians that live in the region. They even made a HBO series about this area of town.

According to Mr. Player, he was on a run to make groceries (that means he walked to the grocery store to buy groceries) and when he got back home he heard a celebration of life (a.k.a., a New Orleans second line funeral) so he started filming this celebrated New Orleans tradition.

As you can see in the video the Rebirth Brass Band is playing while they dance around with the casket over their heads. Then you can see the pallbearers load the casket into a hearse.

This is the real deal, no cameras (besides the one Mitchell is using), no actors, this is how it goes down in the Treme'. This is real life in New Orleans, we celebrate life.
