Audiences across the world were visibly moved by the performances delivered at the One Love Manchester memorial concert Sunday (June 4), which included cameos by Ariana GrandeJustin Bieber, Katy Perry and more of pop's biggest acts.

And Bieber's ex Selena Gomez was among the touched.

In a new interview with SiriusXM, Gomez, whose relationship ended with Bieber in 2015, said she was completely taken aback by the concert, which went on to support the victims of the horrific bombing at Grande's May 22 show, The attack left more than 20 dead and dozens injured.

"It was beautiful," Gomez said. "I thought everyone did such a beautiful job. It was so gorgeous. I love how she [Ariana] ended it. I thought Justin did great. It was really beautiful."

"[Battling hate with love] is what I hope everyone can take away," she added. "That's what I hope they really understand, that we're not gonna live in fear. We refuse to."

And the Jelena faithful immediately picked up on the sentiment, and hoped it meant there was hope of some sort of renewed relationship between Gomez and Bieber.

"I honestly don't ship Justin and Selena like a couple anymore but it makes me emotional seeing Selena supporting Justin after all," one fan tweeted, while another noted "selena and justin are a blessing to this world."
