Sheriff Is Being Sued For Handcuffing Childeren

Is handcuffing children the right way to punish them?

People all over the internet are outraged over a Kentucky deputy sheriff that allegedly handcuffed two children. One of the two kids has ADHD. It was all caught on video. You can hear the little boy crying in pain.

Sheriff Kevin Summer and Sheriff Chuck Korzenborn are now being sued by the 8-year-old's parents. Their lawyer is now saying the kids are having trouble sleeping and are now fearful of police.

The law in Kentucky prohibits handcuffing children unless the child is a danger to himself or others.
