Simon Admits Idol Is Better Off Without Him

If anyone else in the same situation would have said this, I'd call B.S. but since it's coming from a man who is famous for being BRUTALLY honest I have to say I'm convinced that he is telling the truth. Simon Cowell sat with CNN's Piers Morgan openly coming out to say that this season of American Idol is better than last year, which was his last season on the show.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Cowell tells the new CNN night talk-show host, “I personally think it is a better show than last year. I genuinely do. I think what they’ve got is that it feels to me that they’ve got their energy back, that they’re confident, that they’re competitive.”
